Job vacancy Assistant Freight Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Secure new customers and network members, maintaining and developing existing accounts
• Develop sales strategies and approach for various manufacturing and service industries
• Contribure and lead information, ideas and research to develop sales strategies on the freight market
• Research and analyze the market and competitors
• Proactively take initiatives to improve sales performance
• Follow up on quotations as needed and communicate the feedback
• Focus on carriers, feeders, NOVCC, and airlines for all freight kinds of pricing and good relationships
• Join sales calls and arrange business development meetings with prospective clients
• Participate in team collaboration and support team members if needed
• Check and follow up on the invoice process and ERP system implementation
• Report the daily jobs execution plan, weekly report and monthly report to the Line Manager

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Any graduate with related qualifications in the logistics and supply chain sector
• Must have experience in freight forwarding, cross border logistics and carrier relationship
• Good command of English 4 skills and preference in Chinese language
• Collaboration and negotiation skills internally and externally
• Able to work under pressure in any challenging situations
