Responsibilities

  • Put in place the project(s)’ roll-out strategy in collaboration with the Country Head and the Group ND (Network Deployment) Head
  • Lead the planning and implementation of the assigned project(s), plans and schedule the project(s)’ timelines
  • Define and manage the project’s tasks and resources (human, vehicles, tools, equipments…), and assign responsibilities
  • Supervise all works related to the assigned project(s), and ensure they are executed in accordance with the client’s specifications
  • Identify project bottlenecks, problems, set-back and implement solutions
  • Constantly monitor the project(s)’ progress, and report to the Country Head and the Group ND head using the company's forms and procedures
  • Report regularly the project’s progress to the client (weekly meetings, status reports...)
  • Manage the project’s budget and its related payments
  • Build and maintain a solid relationship with the client and their representatives
  • Identify potential projects for the client, and share them with the Country Head and the Group ND Head
  • Select and assign qualified sub-contractors, and manage them
  • Direct and manage the assigned team(s), and provide the needed support
  • Coach and develop the assigned team
  • Explain and train Projects Manager, Project Supervisors and Projects Coordinator on the company's reporting formats, and ensure the implementation and flow of the reports
  • Undertake periodic unscheduled visits to the assigned sites to verify the site progress and provide necessary inputs when needed
  • Monitor and ensure that all QMS/OH&S procedures and policies are being adhered to by the Projects Manager and Projects Supervisors
  • Deal directly with client's representatives on all OH&S matters when required
  • Monitor all QMS/OH&S audit reports of projects
  • Coordinate efforts with all sections of the company (Procurement & Logistics, HR & Administration and Accounts) as per the company’s internal procedures
  • Ensure that all projects activities adhere to all OH&S and QMS standards
  • Follow up the Investigations of accidents, incidents, and hazards and follow up the implementation of the necessary corrective and preventive actions to mitigate incidents, accidents and hazards
  • Ensure that proper trainings are provided to enhance the OHSAS knowledge and competence
  • Conduct regular site inspections when needed
  • Ensure that hazard controls (PPE, engineering controls, policies, and procedures) are monitored

Required Qualifcations & Skills

  • B.Sc. in Civil/Electrical/Telecom Engineering
  • Certificate in Project Management
  • 6-9 years’ experience in similar field
