Job vacancy Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

Responsibilities

• Improve Bank's performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, product pricing, new products, services & channel roll-outs as well as new projects
• Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, expenses & capital expenditures
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends, analysing causes of unexpected variance and recommending to improve performance. Gatekeeper for financial covenants ratios and regulatory for assets and liabilities management
• Analyse the branch profitability and business unit profitability
• Secretary of Assets and Liabilities Management committee (ALCO)
• Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modelling tools
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
• Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to senior management and department head for decision making purposes
• Benchmark across private banks in Myanmar
• Prepare presentations and board papers for the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
• Implement Business Intelligence Tools and Dashboard reports, Ad-Hoc Reporting & Analysis

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Effective relationship building, negotiation and facilitation skills
• Manage time effectively and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities
• Ability to break down problems into meaningful parts and come to rational and well-thought-out conclusions
• Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and to develop new skills
• Strong analytical, financial and system skills 
• Good technical skills, market & product knowledge and capable of responding to change in both the working and market environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, ACCA/CPA
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft office, particularly Excel, Power Point and Word
• 10 years’ experience in the finance profession with 5 years’ experience in FP&A
• Strong knowledge financial background
• Experience working in global business environment is a plus
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills in both Myanmar and English
