Job vacancy Procurement Manager (International & Local)

Responsibilities

• Responsible to achieve the department objectives directly or indirectly by purchasing
• Responsible for purchase of requirement for the related of company
• Responsible for new sourcing both local and oversea
• Establish, communicate and implement long-term goals for the department in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency
• Manage current procurement policies, procedures and programs to enhance organizational value and efficiency
• Negotiate with the vendors to obtain the best price, payment term, quality and lead time
• Check and record the documents systematically and ensure maintenance of supplier database
• Communicate with oversea suppliers and local suppliers to meet the standard requirement
• Perform risk management for supplier contracts and agreements
• Control and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
• Analyze trends and market conditions for present and future pricing, availability, lead-time, and capacity of goods and services
• Check the importing process and shipment arrival
• Review the monthly procurement saving report, bueget and purchase

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Any Bachelor Degree with Diploma in Business Management (or) Supply Chain Management 
• At least 7 to 10 years experiences in procurement field with a minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in trading, feed, or engineering industry
• Strong sourcing experience in related field
• Knowledge and understanding of procurement policy and procedure and demonstrate compliant
• Good experience in related softwares, preferably SAP and proficient in MS Office
• Effective negotiation, leadership and communication skills
• Good oral and written communication skills in English language
• Travel oversea trip if necessary
