GUARD P2 is specially formulated as a single component, ready-to-use, water-based, acrylic waterproof membrane. It is non-toxic and non-flammable and does not contain any hazardous materials.
GUARD P2 functions differently from other waterproofing membrane because GUARD P2 penetrates within the substrate and crystallizes/seals any pores or cracks, whereas other waterproofing membrane simply acts as a barrier in between the substrate and screed above. With its excellent elongation property, it is able to cater for movements in the substrate such as between brick wall and concrete substrate. It can therefore be used as a repair material for bridging cracks in substrate or cracks due to shrinkage. Guard P2 can accommodate movement of structure up to 8mm width.
Guard P2 comprises of special blend of polymers, fillers and additives, cures to form a tough, seamless, elastomeric waterproofing membrane with excellent adhesion to most substrates, as well as providing long term waterproofing protection with excellent UV resistance.
