Bagan Min Thar (Yangon-Bagan-Nyaung Oo-Pakokku)

Im rating Bagan Minn Thar Express a 4 out 5 stars as they were the only bus express ride with vip seats that was able to accommodate our short-notice reservation. Bagan Minn is located inside Aung Mingalar Highway Bus Station. Our route was Yangon to Bagan. Paid about 18,500 kyat (and this is high peak season rate) for VIP Seats (VIP seats would mean Reclining seats, with TOILET aka Restroom [one restroom for 30-34 seater bus]). We left at 8:00pm and is expected to arrive in Bagan at 6:00am. I shall be attaching the VIP seats we had. Yes, the bus is old and therefore the seats are old. Don't expect a first world kind of bus like Bolt Bus. Leg room is definitely my favorite. You can recline your seats from 90 degrees further to 130-140 degrees. Before getting on the bus, if you want to check in your small to large size luggage, you can do so. The baggage person will put a tag on your bag and will give you a claim number (based on the seat number given to you; i will also attach a photo of the claim stub given to me). Upon seating, the conductor (definitely will ignore you if you try to speak to him in not-so-basic english haha) will ask you to write down your full name and passport number on a paper sheet he will hand over (dont worry it is not just you who he will ask for such details but pretty much the entire people on the bus). He will try to arrange your bags, shoes and chair for you to be in your most comfortable state (i'm typing this in because that's what he did for me and my friend). Apart from vip seats, you will get a free bottled water and a snack (check your seat). We only had one official bus stop.

Waiting area is chaotic (let me be honest on this one).... so is their restroom.


Configuration of seating 2+1 type (except for the very last row which is a 2+2 configuration).

How much is it from Yangon to Bagan? I would like to take a night bus at 9pm on 31 Jan.
