The Government in 2007 introduced the open market system for rice export. This helped the growth of the export business through Ayeyar Hinthar Trading Co., Ltd. As a result, within 3 years, Ayeyar Hinthar Trading Co. was the top three exporters of rice in Myanmar.
Another trading company, Global Myanmar Trading Co. Ltd., was set up in 2009 to export other agricultural products such as sugar, beans and pulses from Myanmar.
In 2010, the Government transformed the Vegetable Oil Import Market into the Open Competitive Market for the import of palm oil which is the same as the open market system for rice export. With this change, the import business grew rapidly and became one of the top 3 importers for vegetable oil within a year.
Today, Ayeyar Hinthar Trading is the main exporter and importer for rice and palm oil. It is a leading company within Myanmar as well as in the region. The "Ayeyar" brand is well-known in the market for good quality, affordability and long-term sustainability agriculture products.
Under Zaw Win Shein’s leadership, he is committed to implement an all-inclusive economy. With this in mind, he has launched strategic investments in sectors which are of great importance for the rural and urban development of Myanmar.

It is being constructed on a 6,700-acre site. This development has contributed to the communities in the Region in terms of creating huge employment opportunities.

This led to the formation of the Ayeyarwaddy Farmers Development Bank, known as “A Bank”. It was founded in 2014 with the aim of providing financing services to farmers as well as small and medium enterprises.
‘A’ bank started as a regional bank to finance the agriculture sector in the Ayeyarwaddy region & beyond. Today, it has become one of the top ten leading banks in Myanmar.
